Ariel Kelly, a Park and Recreation graduate who is a park ranger at Yosemite National Park, was interviewed as part of a program feature that highlights beautiful places in America.
I grew up in Big Rapids, Michigan and currently reside in Grand Haven. I earned my Bachelor Degree in Education from Central Michigan University. I work primarily with students from Southwest Lower Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois. However, I am happy to help any student interested in attending Lake Superior State University.
I have worked in education as a teacher and coach for 10 years and have spent the past four years in admissions. This past experience has proved very valuable in helping me to guide students and parents through the college search process.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, following my Detroit Tigers and Lions and numerous outdoor activities. I do believe that one of these years the Lions will actually win the Super Bowl.
