Laker Friday

Description: Dig out your Laker attire, because every Friday is a Laker Friday, a celebration of the blue and gold, and an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to show their Laker pride by donning LSSU colors and apparel. Break out that Laker hoodie, blue sweater or Laker anchor earrings and show your colors!

Annual Snowman Burning

12:00 PM until 1:00 PM


Description: Join us as LSSU bids a long-awaited farewell to winter and welcome to spring. The university has been burning a snowman to welcome spring since 1971. This year, current LSSU President Tony McLain will be "passing the torch" to Dr. Pleger during the ceremony. Everyone is welcome.

Seamore Shuttle

6:00 PM until 10:30 PM


Description: The Seamore Shuttle is a free service provided by the LSSU Campus Life Office that takes LSSU students downtown and to places on the business spur, including Varsity Cinemas. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1-4 p.m. on Sunday.
