The Clothesline Project is a visual display of shirts with graphic messages and illustrations that have been designed by women affected by violence or by someone who loves a woman who has experienced violence or has died due to the violence. The shirts can be viewed by others as testimony to the problem of violence against women and to advocate putting an end to this violence. Use your own shirt or pick up a shirt at LSSU Counseling Services or the Sabin Room located in the Cisler Student Center and then share your story through messages and illustrations. Art supplies will be available at both locations. Blank shirts may be picked up at LSSU Counseling Services from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., April 15-19 or Sabin Room, Cisler lower level from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the same dates. Completed shirts may be dropped off at the LSSU Counseling Center or Office of Campus Life. Shirts will be on display April 15-22 in the lower level of the Walker Cisler Center and Fletcher Center lobby.
