The School of Biological Sciences invites you to a seminar by Neil W. MacDonald, professor of biology and natural resources management and chair of the Grand Valley State University Biology Dept. MacDonald will present "Establishing Native Plant Communities on a Spotted Knapweed Infested Site in Ottawa County, Michigan." Everyone is welcome. MacDonald's research interests include soil processes, air pollution effects on forest ecosystems, watershed restoration and management, restoration of disturbed sites, control of invasive plants, and ecosystem restoration.

The Center for Career Development continues its Career Forum sessions today with liberal studies being the topic of discussion. Come learn how you can earn a liberal studies degree and how a broad-based liberal arts education is essential in many careers. Everyone is welcome to attend.
