Laker Fridays are an opportunity for LSSU alumni, students, employees, friends and area businesses to show their support of Lake Superior State University by donning LSSU colors and apparel. Whether it's a blue suit coat, a gold sweater, a Laker hoodie or a pair of Laker anchor earrings, put it on come Friday, because every Friday is Laker Friday.
The Seamore Shuttle is a free service provided by the LSSU Campus Life Office that takes LSSU students to places on the business spur such as Family Video, Big Lots and other stores in the Sault Plaza, as well as Varsity Cinemas, and downtown locations. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 on Friday and Saturday, and 1-10:30 p.m. on Sunday.
LSSU's Theater Department will present the comedy "Leading Ladies," at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets -- $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $8 for students – are available at the Norris Center box office on campus or may be purchased at the door. The Arts Center box office opens a half-hour before all performances. Thanks to Student Government and the Activities Board, LSSU students may present their ID and get a free ticket at the Norris Center box office by close of business on Friday.
