Laker alumni and fans are invited to a tailgate party at the Lukenda Alumni House before the Ferris State hockey game. Admission is $5. It's free to dues-paying members of the LSSU Alumni Association, everyone who brings a dish to pass, and kids under 12.
The Seamore Shuttle is a free service provided by the LSSU Campus Life Office that takes LSSU students downtown and to places on the business spur, including Varsity Cinemas. There will be more than hockey at Taffy Abel Arena tonight. It's Veterans Night at the rink, so all active military, reserve guardsman and veterans are allowed free entry to the game. There will also be a family discount along with a teddy bear toss to benefit children during Christmas time. Soldiers from local units will be in attendance in uniform, so come on out and support our veterans! If you have questions about Veterans Night, contact Sean Mugerian of the Military Veterans of Lake State at firstname.lastname@example.org
Also tonight, look for the V!LSSU student volunteers in the Norris Center lobby, where they'll be collecting the clothing and non-perishable foods. Anyone who donates will get a coupon for a free pop at the concessions stand.
The Manzoni family, a notorious mafia clan, is relocated to Normandy, France, under the witness protection program, where fitting in soon becomes challenging as their old habits die hard. Come check this Laker Cinema presentation before your finals. You'll have three opportunities to check it out: on Dec. 5 at 9 p.m. and on Dec. 6-7 at around 9:30 p.m. or shortly after the Laker hockey game.
