Congratulations Graduates

Welcome Parents, Visitors and Class of 2014!

Students planning to graduate as of fall 2013, spring 2014 or summer 2014, are eligible to participate in the 2014 Commencement Ceremony. We will be updating this site on a regular basis. Feel free to use the menu located at the left side of this page, to explore other areas related to commencement.

If you have not submitted your Graduation Application and plan to graduate spring semester, please visit the Registrar's Office Graduation webpage at for steps that must be completed as soon as possible. If you want to verify that your degree audit has been submitted along with your Graduation Application check with your Academic Advisor.

Commencement Practice:

Practice will begin at Noon on Friday, May 2nd in the Bud Cooper Gym. Instructions for Procedure, Line-up & Procession are included in the links located on the menu at the left side of this page. Note: the honor (e.g. cum laude) designation is determined by your GPA at the end of the Fall 2013 semester.

Commencement Ceremony:

This year's ceremony will take place on May 3rd at 11 a.m. in the Taffy Abel Arena in the Norris Center. Graduates are asked to arrive in the Cooper Gym between 10:00 a.m. - 10: 30 a.m. The ceremony lasts approximately 2 hours. Please note that seats cannot be reserved.

Notes, Reminders & Updates:

  • GradImages Photographers will take pictures of each graduate as he/she approaches, crosses and exits the platform. Photos will be available through their website at Update your mailing and telephone/cell phone information on Anchor Access - available via MyLSSU. Your MyLSSU e-mail address will be used by GradImages Photographers to get in touch with you.

  • Graduate Candidates:    Please check the list to verify that both your name AND your degree(s) are correct.

  • Issues regarding your grade point or honors status should be directed to the Registrar's office - Graduation. Please email them at
