Members of the LSSU Dance Company visited Superior Central School last month demonstrating Latin Ballroom Dance to about 30 high school Spanish students. Under the direction of Prof. Deborah Choszczyk, Angelica Salas, Kaiti Dickenshied, Susan Drockton, Kitty Drockton and Dan Walker helped demonstrate the proper techniques!

Three members of the LSSU Dance Company traveled to Marquette to participate in the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble Dance Workshop September 14 and 15. Haiti Relief Effort

On Sunday, May 2, 2010, 85 boxes of goods collected for the people of Haiti left LSSU. Supported by members and friends of the LSSU Dance Company, the goods were collected, sorted, packed and carried into a U-Haul Truck. The truck was then driven to Virginia by Dance Company Director, Deborah Choszczyk and her husband Dan. There they palletized all the boxes, preparing them to be picked up and taken to the Royal Caribbean dock for departure to Haiti. According to Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines, all five pallets arrived safe and sound and with the peoples thanks!
