Alumni Association Award Recipients

Join us as we recognize three alumni and one good friend of LSSU at the annual Alumni Awards Program and
Banquet on Saturday, October 27 beginning at 4:30 pm. The catered dinner will be followed by comments from
LSSU President Tony McLain and each of the award recipients. Tickets must be reserved in advance for this event,
the premier event of Great Lake State Weekend, and can be reserved on the GLSW Registration form or by
calling the Alumni office at 906-635-6219.

The 2012 award recipients are:

	Outstanding Alumnus Daniel T. Laur '76, Sanford, MI  BS in political science President and owner of Laur Silicone Inc. - Beaverton.
	Ken Shouldice Alumni Achievement Award Thomas W. Ewing '73, Sault Ste. Marie, MI  BS in social science General Manager at Sovereign Communications, LLC – Sault Ste. Marie
	Paul Ripley Young Alumna Award Heather J. Benjamin '01, Waterford, WI  BS in accounting. Manager at Deloitte – Chicago
	Donald & Catherine Finlayson Award Precision Edge Surgical Products, Sault Ste. Marie, MI  Major supporter of LSSU and key employer of Laker alumni
