Freshmen: How to Apply

Students are invited to become honors candidates as freshmen, based on a composite ACT of 27 and one or more of the following:

  • 3.0 high school GPA
  • Essay of application
  • Personal interview
  • Faculty recommendation

Note: please allow up to 4 weeks for a decision from the Honors Council. If you would like an expedited review, please petition the Honors Director.
