| Function and Responsibility |
| The chemical technician will work in the Environmental Analysis Laboratory analyzing environmental and chemical/biological samples. Work will include working with chemicals, chemical laboratory equipment, and chemical instrumentation. All work will be under the direct supervision of a qualified chemist. |

| Duties and Responsibilities |
Duties will include receiving and prepping samples for chemical and biological analysis, performing laboratory measurements, and other duties as assigned by the laboratory chemist.

| Qualifications |
Associate degree with courses completed in analytical chemistry, general chemistry, and organic chemistry. Must have experience working in chemical laboratories.

| Technician may be required to stand and lift up to 40 lbs. |
