| Function and Responsibility |
| Responsible for greeting all visitors to the campus dining hall in a pleasant and efficient manner and to properly record all transactions. Reports to the Manager of Food Services. |

| Duties and Responsibilities |
Record all transactions properly including, but not limited to, student’s meal plan.
Keep accurate and clean dining hall signage.
Enforce policies of the dining hall in a pleasant manner.
Clean tables and operate register.
Perform related duties as required or assigned. |

| Qualifications |
| Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations; accuracy and speed in handling cash; six months experience in direct cash handling; knowledge of filing system and operation of electronic office machines; ability to work with the public in a courteous manner; ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. Graduation from high school required. |

| Physical and Mental Demands |
| Adequate physical fitness to be able to sit and concentrate for long periods of time; use of fine motor skills to operate computer; problem solving ability; use of gross motor skills for filing, handling of paperwork and equipment; ability to understand and work with numbers; ability to see, hear and speak with or without the use of aids to perform normal office tasks. |
