CALLING ALL DUFFERS – Organizers of Lake Superior State University’s Bud Cooper Memorial Golf Classic form up around a cutout of the venerable tournament’s namesake. For almost three decades, late athletic director Ronald “Bud” Cooper brokered benefit scrambles to benefit LSSU Athletics. The spirit stays alive at the Sault Ste. Marie Country Club August 4-5 with this year’s two-person scramble benefiting Laker men’s basketball.
