Upper elementary students are at a critical stage of cognitive, social, and emotional development. They are transitioning from early childhood to adolescence and teachers of these students have the opportunity to shape their foundational skills and attitudes toward learning. Students earning licensure in Upper Elementary Education are prepared to engage with learners in Grades 3-6.
